Today marked my third experience with TechWorx on three different issues since Sept of '23 (9 months). Car care and repair is one of the services that everyone needs and there are plenty of choices for providers making it difficult to know where to land. I have a Porsche that is out of warranty and has low miles but there are still issues that need to be addressed on occasion. Since it's a foreign manufacturer, things that may be simple to address on a domestic car are much more difficult. Xavier answered the phone personally every time I called, worked with me on pick up times, provided quick and reliable estimates and had prices that were lower than what I expected. The quality of work is great and he has always treated me in a way that leaves me feeling good about my decision to use his shop. If you like the old fashioned customer service with knowledgeable staff and efficient work then leave your keys with your mind at ease at Techworx.

This place is a hidden gem in East Dundee. I like to think of myself of a DIY'er, however there are times where my skills and Youtube are not enough. Let me start off Xavier is a no nonsense down to earth honest mechanic. I took my car in for a failed emission test and the code it flashed could have been one of 15 things. I have a 21 year Porsche 911/996 He went above and beyond. Him and his team of mechanics not only diagnosed and fixed the issue. They took my car to Emission Testing Site for me and took the test and passed. Talk about service. Also TechWorx had been in constant contact with me. Giving me updates on my car. I never once had to call in. Its all in the the little things. I wasn't looking for a shop but I found one. I know I will be recommending TechWorx and Xavier to all my friends, family and anyone looking for a good shop.

I've been taking my MBZ to Xavier for 7 or 8 years. Always competent, prompt, reasonably priced service. Gave us good advice on keeping vs. selling our Lexus many years ago. Last week my E350 was leaking brake fluid. At first he told me it would probably go into next week but when I reminded him that I really needed the car for vacation starting the weekend, he stayed until 9 PM Thursday night to get the job done. Started going there when I lived in Dundee. Now I drive out from Palatine. Can't say enough about a place where you can really trust your car.

I went in for a third party pre-purchase inspection. Xavier was brilliant! Not only did he patiently explain everything I wanted to know about the car, he took me for a walk underneath it, and showed me what he was talking about. I asked him to please write down the cars problems in order of necessary priority, and he happily obliged. He seemed polite and honest throughout. I can see why this place gets so many great reviews! I took my 2010 C300 for a diagnostic because the car is vibrating when going from 30 to 40 mph. I spoke to Xavier and we took the car for a test drive to see what's going on with the car. After a few miles of driving he was able to diagnose the problem to be a transmission issues so he told me it will cost $450 to get it fix and I can pick it up around 5:30pm and so me and my wife went to pick up the car. He told me that he changed the fluid but the car still running the same but it has improved a little bit. I paid the bill and he said that it will eventually need to rebuild the transmission at will cost $3K and up so we took the car home. Thanks so much Xavier for your honesty.

These folks are very skilled and have a clean shop you could eat off the floor! I am a retired mechanic due to medical issues and they helped me out with software programming in my VW, as well as light diagnostics. They actually worked with me to point me forwards solving my issue myself. Very few folks would do that. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the waiting area is extremely clean. I would recommend this shop to anyone especially folks needing assistance and repairs done to anything German. They have the skills, knowledge, tools and software required! What I can no longer do due to medical issues (which is a lot) I will have these folks do.

First time with TechWorks Autohaus for a Pre-inspection service. First impression - The shop is clean and very presentable. Xavier is very knowledgeable on what he does and really takes his time to inspect the car from top to bottom. He does very thorough job and really explains very well on what he saw in the car from his past experiences on similar automobiles and also provided me with the results of the computer analysis. He also provided his recommendation professionally. Just from the first visit and knowing Xavier in that short span of time. I felt really comfortable and at ease knowing that if i buy this car, that I can come back to this shop and my car will be taken care of. Not to mention that fair pricing too. Xavier and his team fixed my window regulator. My window was acting up on me when I would try to use it for a while then finally at the worst time when it was really cold and snowing it got stuck open. I called a few places that seemed a bit pricey and couldn't even confirm they could get it done that day. When I talked to Xavier her was very professional and explanatory. He gave me a very competitive price. And the best part was he guaranteed it would he fixed that day which was important to me because I need my vehicle daily! I brought my vehicle in at the scheduled time and his team finished it before they said it would be done. They know what they are doing here. I would recommend techworx to anybody. Xavier was very helpful with me. My car wouldn't start,, I called a place I had my battery replaced in March, and they weren't much help. So I did some online checking,, I wanted someone who would have experience and not a backyard mechanic. I saw techworx and read what all they worked on. Also, checked reviews. Since I am a single woman and don't know much about the mechanics of a car,,,, can't even put air in a tire,,, i needed a place I could trust. Xavier and his team treated me and my car like I was the only person in his shop. Which I wasn't. He found the problem and I had him fix it. He asked if I wanted him to check anything else out,, and I asked him to please change transmission fluid. I'm glad I did,, as he found a leak,,, he took care of it.. I had been looking for a new auto shop since my last one closed. As a former mechanic I was very impressed with this shop and with the owner Xavier. We're lucky to have an honest, reliable auto shop right here in East Dundee so we don't have to get scored by one of those corporate chains. Beautiful place by the way.

I've had 2 opportunities to use Techworx services. The first was purchasing a used vehicle from them. We bought it 4 months ago and have been extremely happy with it. Techworx had gone over it to make sure there were no hidden problems, and that what we have, a problem free van. The second time we used them was for their repair services. We brought them a car that seemed to have a serious issue. (a metal screeching in the front end and the car was inoperable) Xavier and his technician called me to let me know it was a serious issue, but easily fixed. The cost was very reasonable. Not the end of the world I had imagined. The car was back on the road the next day. They also told me what had most likely caused the issue. I will have a word with the driver.:) It is difficult to find this kind of service and up front honesty along with reasonable prices. I highly recommend giving them a try. John R

Took my 2008 S550 4matic to them because I figured I needed a new battery turns out I have like 2 of them so a random shop tried to get me to buy all of them but Benz worx found out it was just 1 of my batteries instead of spending the $680 the random shop told me I spend $275 with Benz worx thank u for your honesty

I had went there to get my 2000 BMW 328i serviced. I was convinced the rear differential was going out because there was an extremely loud whirring sound when the car got to speed, The BMW service center wanted to charge me $1600 to fix the differential, which would be too much, so i took it here. As it turns out, there was NOTHING wrong with the differential, the noise was coming from one of the wheel bearings that was failing. After I got it fixed, we drove it around and the car was totally silent. It cost $400 for the service, which was a decent price compared to the BMW service center. The employees were all very helpful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get their European cars serviced.
